Vino

I'm no wine-o. I do not have a sophisticated pallet by any measure. But I do like wine.

My boyfriend and I started a little ritual of trying new wines based on the name. We like things a little bit crazy. The funkier the name, the more willing we are to try it.

So far my favorites are Gnarley Head, Ménage a Trois, and First Timer.

Like I said we are no connoisseurs, but we do know what we like and have visited a few vineyards in California.

I like things dry. He does too. He likes his vino a bit bolder than me but we both agree fruity is no bueno. The fruitier the more likely we are to toss it but the ones listed above have passed our test.

So I will continue to list ones we try and feel free to offer suggestions. Just remember we like for it to be fun, so don't offer Becker Vineyards or Messina Hoff. We like Basher and Toad Hollow, so keep is crazy.
