He is one of my ALL-TIME favorite athletes. I'm not kidding. This guy was not only a force to be reckoned with during his years in the NBA, but he is one of the most entertaining commentators ever. Is he a loud mouth, cocky jerk sometimes? Sure. But what honest, larger than life personality types aren't? It is like I said entertaining…and his book, hilarious. It is an easy read, nothing deep but funny and enlightening. I forget the name, something about "A Loud Black Man" or something. It's worth the quick read, trust me.
So with the return of the NBA, we get Barkley back on TV again and I think that might be the only reason I watch. The Spurs have been so disappointing lately and with Barkley's addition of Shaq to their Pre-Game shows, yah that's where my attention will go. Those two guys together will not only be two of the greatest players of my lifetime, but also two of the funniest.
So Go Spurs Go, I guess, and even better here's to my man Sir Charles.
