Conrad Murray

4 years in jail, no more being a doctor and a lashing from the judge. Ok. If that is the worst it could possibly be, then ok. Being responsible for the death of a patient I really think should warrant a little more than that, no matter who the patient is or was, but what do I know?

The annoying part is California is so screwed up that he will only serve something like 290 days, 47 of which he has already served. After that some money hungry publisher will probably give him a book deal. And he'll make more money as Michael Jackson's killer than as Michael Jackson's doctor. Way to go America.

I think unfortunately this is yet another instance where my Dado's age old lesson should be kept in focus: Sometimes the best lesson is what not to do.

Maybe we, the people, will win in the end because we won't feed the publicity circus of such ridiculous cases. Or maybe we simply learn to follow the rules...especially where life and death are concerned.

No matter what, this saga is over. Thank goodness.

Happy Wednesday!

xoxo Sara Marie
