Yall will notice a new "button" on the right sidebar. Ted Cruz for Senate. This guy is the real deal. I say that because he is a rare combination of electable and effective. Often times candidates for office (any office) are either very electable, but probably won't be an effective leader and representative; or they are not electable despite their potential to lead and/or govern. Ted Cruz is both. He is relatable, gives a helluva a stump speech, and has fought bureaucracy--and won-- many times.
Going into 2012 we are going to have all kinds of candidates jumping in and out of this US Senate race, and already have for that matter. If you are a RINO, you'll have a candidate. If you are a flip-flopping moderate, you've got a candidate. And even the Democrats are going to be rallying behind a candidate they think can win. Ted Cruz is a better candidate, and will be a better United State Senator than any of these.
I could tell you about his background as Solicitor General for the state or go into his campaign promises of fighting the intrusion of the Feds into the State, protecting life, etc, but instead, I say look for yourself. http://www.tedcruz.org./ And don't stop there. Read up on the other candidates too, you'll see he is the best choice. And then, don't forget the most important part, Vote for Ted Cruz next Spring and next November. Thanks.
